Putting Things Together

This is something like (and not even nearly as awesome as the actually) a conversation I had with Eliot tonight while standing in the front yard in the middle of a rain storm.

E: Whats that noise?

ME: Thunder. It happens after lightening? If we watch we might see a big flash of light. That is lightening.

pause

E: Lightning McQueen?

ME: Lightening McQueen is named after lightening that happens in a storm.

E: Lightening McQueen is in the sky? Race car in the sky?

ME: We won't see Lightening McQueen in the sky. Lightening is drawn on the side of McQueen's car.

E: Big light on race car.

ME: Yeah.
